HEFC Walkathon: Saturday, Sept 27th, 2025

HEFC will hold its annual fundraising Walkathon on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

Join us for an enjoyable walk around the AltaVista neighbourhood and raise funds to alleviate food insecurity in our area.

St. Thomas the Apostle Anglican Church, at 2345 AltaVista Ave. is kindly hosting the group for the kick-off and wind-up. Refreshments will be served at the end of the walk.

Come to the church at 9am, and we will start walking by 9:30am. The walk will take approximately 1.5 hours. Bring your friends, the kids, the dogs....and get your steps in for the day!

You can register as a walker on our dedicated Walkathon website https://go.rallyup.com/hefc2025/Campaign/Details which will provide you with a unique link to send to your friends and family. They can use that link to donate against your name.

If you wish to register in person and collect pledges using a paper form instead, give the HEFC offices a call or send and email, and they will connect you with a Board member to get you the forms.
